I was so excited to have a session with this family again this year. It was fun since we got to do back to back sessions with their extended family, and then a more intimate session with just the 4 of them. These boys are just the best!

Christmas Card Round Up

I know I have been away for a while, but I don't like to post during Christmas card season so my clients have a chance to get cards out and have their photos be a surprise. I wanted to post this one first. This family is near and dear to my heart. Meet my brother, his wife, and my beautiful nieces. We did this session when we went to visit them for Thanksgiving and I just couldn't stop smiling. We don't get together as ofter as we would like to due to the distance that separates us, but don't let that fool you on how close we all are. I love you guys so much and miss you more than I can tell you!

Celebrating 40 years

Brooke's Big Heart

I wanted to post this update on this amazing little girl. The last post I did was a photo shoot from her hospital room as she waited for a heart. We did this session just a few weeks after her heart transplant. She and her family are just amazing. I hope you enjoy looking at this miracle.

I just loved my session with this couple. This is their first baby and they are just giddy about it. I love their sense of humor and that little boy is so lucky to have them as parents.

Brooke's Big Heart

Meet my neighbor Brooke. She is an adorable spit fire that has won my entire family over. She is currently at UCLA Children's Hospital waiting for a heart. She is 2. I recently had the chance to give her mom a break and spend some one on one time with Brooke (who always makes my day). I wanted to share the images from my day with her and ask all of you to add this angel and her family to your prayer lists.

Since I have 2 boys, getting to braid a little girls hair is an absolute thrill so of course I had to take a picture.

This is her amazing mother who is probably the strongest woman I have ever met.

The girl can eat an entire In N Out Hamburger.

I am pretty sure she is going to be their next spokes model.

She decided to paint each hand and foot a different color. Yet another thrill...mani's and pedi's.

I did this session as a surprise gift for the grandma of these beautiful cousins. I have such a great relationship with my cousins and it was fun to watch this crew interact. Made me miss my cousins so so much.

This beautiful family is from Canada and has proudly just become official US citizens. I have known them for quite a few years now, and they could truly not be a nicer family. And they are now expecting another grandson to add to the mix which makes it even more fun!

The twins make their debut

A few weeks ago I posted the maternity shoot of twins that had just come home from the hospital. I was so excited to finally get to meet them and, even better, have their photo session. They are just precious, and snuggle bugs. I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed this session. So glad I will get to watch these little ones grow!

I have to say that this family is just a blast. So funny with the greatest sense of humor. I just loved these pictures because the leaves were just getting ready to fall so the colors are just so vibrant and warm. Hope you all had a wonder holiday season and happy 2011!

Beach Butterflies

A few weeks ago my brother and his family came to visit us. We had perfect weather and such a great time. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed taking these pictures since we aren't able to get together often due to the distance that separates us (they live in Texas). My sister-in-law had the brilliant idea to put butterfly wings on the girls. As you can see, they made for just beautiful images. If you have not visited the train station in San Juan Capistrano, make a trip. There are just so many fun places to see while you are there. This beautiful family and I had a great time there, despite one of the girls being just a little under the weather. Looking forward to going back and exploring even more.

I looked forward to this photo session for quite some time. I met this not so little guy when he was just 3 weeks old, and his parents invited me to come back again now that he is 6 months. I love seeing kids grow and change.

Holiday gear up

A few weeks ago, I did a day of holiday mini-sessions so families could order Christmas cards early and get ahead of the game (a thing I often try to do, but rarely succeed). This family was so fun to work with. I was drawn to their two boys as they reminded me so much of mine with their personalities, and mom and dad could not have been any nicer. Can't believe I am saying this (where did 2010 go), but hope you are gearing up for your holidays too!!!

The San Juan Mission

This beautiful couple had their marriage blessed by the Catholic church, and I was lucky enough to witness their intimate ceremony at the most beautiful church I have ever set foot in. I had so much fun at this session. Not only was the venue amazing, but the family was delightful to work with.

I'm a little sister with a big brother. Brian and I are very close....always have been. So, it was such a joy to do a session with these little siblings knowing how lucky they are to have each other. What you may not know about me is that I am a Pittsburgh Steeler fan...I have been since birth. So when this beautiful family booked a photo session in their Dallas Cowboy jerseys, I only gave them a little grief. They were so much fun to photograph and just a joy to be around. We managed to put our differences in NFL loyalties behind us and produce these wonderful images. Thank you so much for choosing me to capture your family.

A beautiful beach party

A dear friend of mine invited my husband and I to a beach party she was hosting just to celebrate life. It could not have been a more perfect evening with wonderful music, great food, and even better company. As you will see, the most beautiful part of the entire evening was a memorial wall she set up so we all could honor our loved ones that have past. Thank you so much Mary for such a memorable evening.
